Registered Sleep Technologist (Also known as: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Sleep Technologist, Polysomnographic Technologist, Sleep Tech, Registered Sleep Tech•)•1. Position Overview Seeking a Full-time Registered Sleep Technologist to join our team.
Schedule:
Night shift, 3-4 nights per week, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. 3. Key Responsibilities Perform overnight sleep studies and monitor patients. Prepare and calibrate sleep study equipment. Apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks. Record, analyze, and score sleep study data. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care. 4. Requirements Active RPSGT certification and/or Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license. Active Maryland State License (as applicable). Experience in polysomnography preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. 5. Education High school diploma required. Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred. 6. Certifications Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification and/or Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Maryland State License (required). 7. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with pediatric sleep patients. Knowledge of polysomnographic testing and scoring procedures. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts. 8. Benefits & Perks Referral bonus & relocation assistance.
