Sleep Technologist - Night Shift Polysomnographic Technologist (Full‑Time) Chevy Chase & Bowie, Maryland | Overnight Schedule Transform Lives While the World Sleeps The Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders is seeking a skilled, compassionate Polysomnographic Technologist to join our growing team. What You'll Do As a key member of our sleep medicine team, you will: Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnographic studies for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Accurately score, analyze, and interpret sleep data , identifying clinically significant findings Partner closely with physicians to provide meaningful insights that support diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with clinical standards Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on polysomnography equipment to ensure optimal performance Support the rollout of new technologies and protocols in the sleep lab Create a safe, calming, and supportive overnight environment that puts patients at ease What We're Looking For Required Credentials Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Active Maryland state license Experience Previous experience conducting and interpreting sleep studies in a clinical or lab setting Core Skills Strong knowledge of sleep medicine terminology and procedures Excellent patient bedside manner and communication skills Ability to work independently overnight while collaborating with physicians and staff Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills Comfortable troubleshooting sleep study equipment Availability Able to work full‑time overnight shifts Compensation & Benefits $36-$40 per hour , based on experience Competitive full‑time benefits package Supportive leadership and a collaborative clinical team Opportunity to grow in a respected, specialized field of medicine Equal Opportunity Employer We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workplace.
