Every 3rd Weekend | Holiday Rotation Required Pay range: $43.00/hr•$46.00/hr. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 16-week travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for laboratory professionals who are confident working independently in a fast-paced hospital laboratory while performing testing across multiple laboratory disciplines. (BI02) First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Immunology, and Blood Bank. Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory analyzers and instrumentation. Review quality control data and ensure compliance with laboratory standards. Process, prepare, accession, and analyze patient specimens accurately. Report laboratory results promptly and accurately. Follow laboratory safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance protocols. Maintain accurate documentation within the laboratory information system. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to support quality patient care. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Laboratory Scientist experience ASCP Certification Required

preferred BLS preferred Experience working independently in a hospital clinical laboratory Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation Strong knowledge of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Specimen Processing EPIC experience required Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills

Schedule Day Shift:

7:00 AM•3:30 PM Every 3rd weekend required Holiday rotation as scheduled Floating within laboratory specialty as needed

Pay:
