This 13-week travel opportunity is ideal for medical technologists and lab technicians eager to broaden their expertise as a Generalist. Engaging with new colleagues in a different clinical environment will allow you to learn advanced methodologies, observe dynamic leadership styles, and further develop your diagnostic skills. You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide spectrum of laboratory operations, strengthening your professional portfolio for future advancement.
Schedule/Hours:
3x12-hour night shifts Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Weekend rotation as assigned
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) preferred Experience in generalist laboratory duties (chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank) Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance practices Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently during night shifts and adapt to new systems and equipment
Job Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of clinical laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency Analyze and interpret patient specimens in multiple disciplines Maintain rigorous quality control standards and safety measures Communicate critical lab results to healthcare staff promptly Collaborate with medical teams and participate in process improvement initiatives
