This 13-week assignment as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) Generalist presents an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic laboratory environment. Working closely with experienced teams, you'll gain valuable insights into diverse healthcare practices and different leadership methodologies, helping you broaden your expertise and add variety to your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
3 x 12-hour night shifts Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Rotating weekends included
What You'll Do:
Perform a full range of laboratory tests and analyses across multiple disciplines Ensure accurate and timely reporting of results to support patient care Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment with precision Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize laboratory processes and quality assurance Adhere to stringent safety and compliance standards at all times Support and train peers and new staff as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Certified as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) or Medical Lab Technician Experience working as a generalist in a clinical lab setting preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to thrive on night shifts and adapt to a rotating weekend schedule
