Overview CLS + Health, dental, and vision insurance options + Paid vacation, sick time and holidays + Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options + Employer 401K options + Tuition reimbursement options + Life, disability, and other insurance options + Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities If you are a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist ( MLS ), Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Technician ( MLT ) or if you will be obtaining your ASCP certification in MLS , MT, or MLT within 90 days, you are encouraged to apply for this position. + Perform laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and other bodily fluids to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and conditions, this may include routine tests as well as specialized tests + Interpret lab test results and identify any abnormalities, ensure the accuracy and reliability of these results to assist doctors in making informed decisions about patient care + Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards in laboratory testing, you may also calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment + Keep accurate and detailed records of all laboratory tests performed and their results, input data into our laboratory information systems + Ensure all laboratory operations comply with hospital policies, governmental regulations, and accreditation requirements Qualifications + ASCP certification, or equivalent, required within 1 year of employment + Bachelors Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA (42 CFR 493.1489) + Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required + One year hospital laboratory work experience preferred, but not required Employment Status Full Time Shift Nights Equal Employment Opportunity EEOC KnowYourRights\ screen\_reader\ 10\ Explore Career Opportunities Discover roles where your skills and passion for patient care can make a meaningful impact.
