This role involves performing a variety of essential laboratory functions, including specimen handling, testing, data analysis, and first-level instrument maintenance.   • Receive and log patient specimens into the Laboratory Information System to validate UDS results.
  • Verify that all samples include two patient identifiers (name and DOB); reject specimens with missing information per laboratory rejection protocols and forward documentation accordingly.
  • Process laboratory samples in adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Operate LCMS equipment (Agilent 6420) to analyze samples.
  • Conduct data analysis, review, and certification as required.
  • Perform routine operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LCMS instrumentation.
  • Maintain and organize laboratory documentation for efficient retrieval.
  • Execute routine quality control tasks.
  • Manage laboratory inventory and order supplies in compliance with purchasing policies.
Qualifications Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field. Meets CLIA and state regulations for high-complexity laboratory technologists. Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience.
Compensation and Benefits Competitive Pay:
$28- $33 per hour depending on experience
