Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ' company, is looking for a Laboratory Technicians and Clinical Laboratory Scientists to support our work with the Indian Health Service across Montana! Position durations:
13 weeks - often with the opportunity to extend Full Time, 40 hours a week
Schedule:
Varies depending on location. May include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Per Diem for travel, housing, meals, and incidentals. Multiple levels available! Lab Techs II, III, IV, and Clinical Laboratory Scientists Responsibilities Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using various diagnostic laboratory equipment such as analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Prepare patients and collect blood specimens utilizing venipuncture or capillary methods. Prepare patients for collection of other specimen types such as urine and stool. Review, verify and report patient results. Must be proficient in major areas of the clinical laboratory, such as clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, and molecular testing. Perform, update and/or review Quality Control, Calibrations, and Maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Specific requirements will vary depending on the role, but the minimum requirements are: Completion of a medical laboratory technician (MLT) program or equivalent training. Certification as MLT (ASCP or AMT) preferred. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS). 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment Certifications and/or additional experience may be required for more senior positions. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $37.25/Hr.
