Job Description

The Test Center Administrator assists in the administration of official Pearson Vue Exams to include official GED testing as well as PSI/HiSet exams within the assigned testing location on the Brunswick Community College Campus. This position will be under the supervision of the G.E.A.R. (Gateway to Employment and Readiness Act) Director. Administer HSE exams in strict accordance with vendor policies and procedures. Maintains a clean and orderly test environment that supports a quiet and secure atmosphere. Ensure the confidentiality, security, and integrity of all testing materials, logs, and related documentation. Monitor testing sessions vigilantly to prevent and detect cheating in accordance with vendor protocols. Document and report incidents, irregularities, or suspected misconduct thoroughly and accurately, following established procedures. Replenish and maintain adequate inventory of exam materials and testing supplies. Communicate promptly with the Chief Examiner regarding incidents, irregularities, supply needs, or testing lab concerns to ensure timely resolution. Follow all vendor and BCC procedures for opening, closing, and securing the testing lab. Adhere to vendor guidelines regarding testing accommodations, required, documentation, and signature vivification processes. Greet and assist test takers in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner. Complete all required vendor certifications, training, and professional development activities. High school diploma or equivalent Ability to use Microsoft office & Outlook Ability to work independently Excellent organizational skills Effective verbal skills Complete required training for test center Bachelor's degree Teaching experience at the Community College level
