Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your career in a dynamic clinical laboratory setting as a key contributor to patient care. This position offers the exciting opportunity to work 3rd shift as a generalist, utilizing your expertise across a broad array of laboratory disciplines. The ideal candidate is a passionate professional with proven abilities in both Medical Technologist and Medical Lab Technician functions.

3rd shift hours
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification or degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science Relevant credentials as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Minimum of one year's experience in a clinical laboratory preferred Generalist experience, demonstrating capability in all major laboratory departments Familiarity with laboratory information systems and automated instrumentation Current vaccination status is required
Core Responsibilities:
Perform and analyze a wide range of diagnostic laboratory procedures across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and equipment Accurately document and report critical laboratory test results Uphold stringent quality assurance and safety standards to ensure reliable and timely results Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, and other care team members to provide excellent, patient-centered service Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and laboratory best practices Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills during high-volume or urgent testing scenarios
