Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Step into an exciting full-time contract opportunity as a Medical Technologist in the heart of North Carolina, just outside Fayetteville. Enjoy the vibrant local culture—maybe even some famous Carolina BBQ—while making a difference in a dynamic laboratory environment. This position is ideal for professionals looking to gain valuable experience and grow their skillset in a supportive setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Nights with weekend rotation 13-week contract assignment
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Registered US Tech status required GE platform experience highly preferred Generalist laboratory experience is preferred for optimal success in this role Ability to adapt quickly and operate efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory setting
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and bodily fluids as a generalist Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including GE systems Accurately interpret and document laboratory results Work collaboratively with fellow laboratory professionals to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and safety protocols
