The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations and monitoring patients during sleep studies to assess sleep disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of sleep medicine, physiology, and medical terminology, along with the ability to perform physical examinations and vital signs assessments. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients undergoing sleep studies. Monitor and record patients' vital signs throughout the study. Administer respiratory therapy as needed during sleep assessments. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to interpret data collected during sleep studies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on findings. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and study results. Ensure the sleep center environment is clean, safe, and conducive to patient comfort. Provide education to patients regarding sleep disorders and treatment options. Qualifications Strong knowledge of sleep medicine and related medical terminology. Experience or education in respiratory therapy is preferred. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and physical examination procedures. Understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to sleep disorders. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals. Previous experience in a sleep center or similar clinical setting is a plus.
