Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in laboratory science to an essential Generalist role, where your knowledge as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician will be highly valued. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where precision and accuracy directly impact patient care decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:
Certification or degree as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or equivalent required Previous experience in a clinical laboratory, working as a Generalist Comprehensive understanding of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and safety protocols Strong phlebotomy, specimen processing, and quality control skills Proficiency in interpreting, verifying, and analyzing results in hematology, chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot laboratory instruments Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting Up-to-date vaccination required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate testing, analysis, and reporting on a variety of biological specimens across multiple lab disciplines Maintain equipment, calibrate instruments, and uphold laboratory best practices for quality and compliance Ensure timely and precise documentation of results, promptly reporting critical findings to healthcare teams Follow established procedures for specimen handling, test procedures, and maintaining records Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized laboratory workplace in compliance with all regulatory standards
