Travel Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist - 10-Hour Shifts in City, NM Are you a skilled Radiologic Technologist with cardiology experience looking for a rewarding opportunity? Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success What You'll Do Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab in line with department protocols Prepare and orient patients for procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Operate imaging and related equipment accurately, maintaining proper documentation Provide radiation protection for patients and staff Assist with Point of Care testing procedures Maintain supplies and ensure a clean, organized work environment Deliver excellent patient/customer care, fostering positive relations Adhere to safety policies and participate in ongoing educational activities Support after-hours coverage, including on-call duties (10/12 days per month, including weekends) Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and technical teams
What You Need Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program ARRT certification or eligibility and New Mexico State licensure BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English At least 1 year of radiologic experience preferred
Preferred:
Experience with interventional procedures in cardiology and radiology Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and radiographic positioning Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment involves working in a busy Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures with a focus on cardiology. The role requires attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and adherence to safety protocols. The successful candidate will support a dynamic team committed to high-quality patient outcomes.
