REQUIRES

a valid Medical Technologist/Specialty Technologist license with the state of Nevada OR the eligibility to sit for a board certified exam to receive a provisional State of Nevada Specialty Technologist Under general supervision:

• Perform all necessary equipment maintenance.
• Follow QC protocol daily.
• Prepare samples according to established methodology.
• Assist in other laboratory departments.
• Complies with all laboratory and safety policies.
• Review and release patient results.
• Assist with maintaining accreditation requirements.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements. Qualifications and Skills Experience in LCMS testing preferred.
• Must be able to work independently or with limited supervision.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and goal oriented.
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and perform duties outside the everyday job functions.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or related field.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Medical Technologist or Specialty Technologist License by the State of Nevada.
