Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Under the direction of the Chairman, a Medical Technologist performs analysis on patient specimens, and assures both accuracy and precision when reporting out results.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program B.S. degree in Medical Technology from an accredited institution (OR) B.S. degree in related field. Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English One year experience preferred. License/Certifications NYS Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or permit Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions Standing for prolonged periods of time Exposure to biohazardous materials
