Travel assignment, flexibility required to meet laboratory needs
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) At least one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is highly preferred Strong attention to detail and aptitude for analytical troubleshooting Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and more Analyze specimens, interpret results, and provide timely, accurate reports to healthcare providers Maintain quality control protocols and comply with all regulations and safety standards Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
