Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your clinical laboratory career with an immediate opportunity for an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This contract position calls for a versatile generalist skilled in all core lab disciplines, with a particular emphasis on blood banking.
Schedule:
3x12-hour night shifts
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Proven experience in a hospital laboratory setting, working as a generalist Strong background in blood bank procedures and protocols Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and quality Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and blood banking Analyze specimens to provide critical data for patient diagnosis and treatment Adhere strictly to laboratory policies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines Maintain and troubleshoot instruments, ensuring consistent reliability and safety Assist in the training and support of new team members and students as needed Accurately record and communicate test results to physicians and healthcare staff
