Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your clinical laboratory career in a dynamic setting where your expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician will make a significant impact. This contract position offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of generalist duties, with a particular emphasis on blood banking.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour night shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Demonstrated experience as a laboratory generalist Strong background in blood banking required Proficient in clinical laboratory testing methods and protocols Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Reliable, team-oriented professional with strong communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory testing in line with established protocols, focusing on both generalist and blood bank assignments Analyze, interpret, and report test results promptly and accurately to support patient care decisions Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met Assist in troubleshooting instrument issues and take corrective actions as needed Adhere to all laboratory safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide timely, accurate reference details for patient diagnostics This role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your skill set in a collaborative laboratory environment while contributing to the highest standards of patient care.
