Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled laboratory professional with expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to perform as a generalist with a focus in blood banking. This contract opportunity involves providing high-quality laboratory testing and analysis in a fast-paced healthcare setting with a commitment to patient care.
Schedule:
Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
Active certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Demonstrated experience as a laboratory generalist across key disciplines Proficient in blood banking protocols and procedures Strong analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy during night shifts Familiarity with laboratory guidelines and safety procedures
Responsibilities:
Perform and verify laboratory tests with accuracy and timeliness Maintain and operate a wide range of laboratory analyzers and equipment Conduct blood banking procedures, including compatibility testing and inventory management Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality assurance standards Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams regarding test results and urgent findings Troubleshoot technical issues and document resolutions as needed If you are a detail-oriented laboratory professional with solid experience in blood banking and enjoy working independently during night shifts, this contract role offers a dynamic and supportive environment for your expertise.
