Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your career in clinical laboratory science by providing vital diagnostic expertise as a valued Medical Laboratory professional. You will play a central role in supporting patient outcomes through quality laboratory analysis and collaboration with a skilled interdisciplinary team.
Schedule Options:
Choose between 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts for added flexibility.
Key Qualifications:
Valid ASCP or MT certification required. Proficiency in blood banking protocols is essential. Experience performing phlebotomy duties. Previous experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately within a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong knowledge of laboratory best practices, instruments, and regulatory standards.
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, immunology, and transfusion medicine. Ensure timely processing and analysis of specimens, adhering to quality and safety protocols. Perform blood banking functions, including cross-matching and compatibility testing. Carry out phlebotomy procedures safely and efficiently on patients of all ages. Maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot technical issues, and document results thoroughly. Participate in quality control initiatives, inventory management, and problem-solving within the lab. Communicate clearly with medical staff regarding critical laboratory findings.
