1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for overnight weekend sleep study shifts, requiring RPSGT certification and at least 1 year of polysomnography experience. Details Work in a dedicated Sleep Center focused on diagnostic testing for sleep disturbances and neurological-related disorders Shift schedule is nights, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, every weekend 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy, OR graduation from an AMA-approved college program in a related field RPSGT certification through the BRPT required Current, active Healthcare Provider BLS required Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) license required if applicable Additional Information Responsibilities include performing patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing and recording polysomnographic (PSG) and video data of sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation Communicates and coordinates activities with the Sleep Lab Section leader/supervisor Administers sleep medications per facility policy First-time travelers will not be considered; this facility strictly adheres to all posted job requirements without exceptions
