Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Immerse yourself in an exciting opportunity as a Medical Technologist in Pennsylvania, just a short drive from major cities and a region renowned for its rich chocolate heritage. This full-time contract position offers flexibility and exposure to advanced laboratory practices in a dynamic setting.
Schedule:
Sunday through Saturday coverage Mid-Shift rotation
Qualifications:
Certified as Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) with ASCP or AMT credential Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Registered US Laboratory Technologist Generalist experience strongly preferred Previous experience with GE equipment is advantageous
Key Duties:
Perform clinical laboratory tests across various areas following established protocols Accurately document, analyze, and report test results to support patient care decisions Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory instruments Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostics Uphold strict compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards Assist with inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring lab preparedness for accreditation processes
