This 10-week travel assignment provides outstanding professional growth potential. You'll build your resume by operating with minimal supervision, gaining intensive exposure to diverse laboratory practices, leadership styles, and the latest medical technology platforms. During your downtime, soak in the unique atmosphere of Charleston—exploring its historic districts, scenic waterfronts, and southern hospitality.
Schedule/Hours:
7 on, 7 off night shifts
Qualifications:
ASCP or AMT certification required MT or MLT licensure Demonstrated experience as a generalist and seasoned technologist Proficient in phlebotomy Strong background in chemistry, particularly with Roche Cobas Pro/Pure Solid blood bank skills Robust understanding of LIS, specifically Cerner Comfortable working independently with limited personnel (overnight with lab assistant)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and other disciplines Collect blood samples as needed Ensure accurate, timely reporting and documentation of results Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate lab equipment Adhere to all safety and quality protocols Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
