Schedule:
13-week assignment Monday through Friday coverage, with potential for afternoon/evening and some weekend shifts Scheduling may vary depending on assignment start date
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as MT/MLT through ASCP or AMT (required) Experience as a laboratory generalist Skilled in phlebotomy Proficiency with both Cerner and Epic laboratory information systems Knowledge of Roche cobas Chemistry analyzers and Blood Bank procedures (required) Commitment to exceptional patient care and accuracy Willingness and flexibility to cover various shifts as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of testing as a medical laboratory generalist Conduct phlebotomy as part of routine duties Ensure accurate and timely specimen analysis for all lab disciplines Operate and maintain sophisticated instrumentation including Roche cobas Chemistry analyzers Navigate and document within Cerner and Epic systems efficiently Contribute to blood bank operations and adhere to safety protocols
