Job Duties:

Performs laboratory technical procedures & analysis, collects specimens and obtains body fluid/blood samples, cultures from patients of all ages for interpretation in the treatment & diagnosis of disease. Capable of judging specimen acceptability, appropriateness of results, and making test modifications when necessary. Performs quality control, preventative maintenance, makes independent decisions, interpreting abnormal results, pursuing appropriate follow-up action in the event ofvariance from the norm. Adheres to the laboratorys policies and procedures for instrument calibration and maintenance.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related Laboratory Sciences, ASCP or AMT or equivalent certification, good computer skills.
