  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Limited Medical Radiological Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will perform a variety of mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, ekg scans, and specialized modalities such as Ultrasound scans, and sonography. Your expertise will support accurate diagnostic evaluations in fast-paced environments like home centers, LTAC rooms, and nursing home Centers. Your commitment to patient safety, adherence to aseptic techniques, and thorough understanding of medical terminology and anatomy will ensure high-quality imaging services that contribute directly to patient care and treatment planning. Responsibilities Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, ekg Ultrasound Apply proper aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or sensitive procedures. Accurately capture images that meet diagnostic standards while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Assist in diagnostic radiology assessments by providing detailed images for physicians' review and interpretation. Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment logs in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with medical staff in emergency medicine settings, including Level II trauma centers and urgent care facilities, to deliver prompt imaging support during critical situations. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques such as sonography, MRI (if applicable), and physiology knowledge to enhance service quality. Requirements Certification or licensure as a LMRT Medical Radiologic Technologist with specialization in limited scope modalities. Proven experience with diagnostic radiology procedures in urgent care or emergency room environments. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Experience working within Level I Trauma Centers or similar high-acuity settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to prevent infection during invasive procedures. Ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely while maintaining radiation safety standards. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
