What You'll Do:
Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing labs and operating advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment Assist with fluoro imaging, digital image acquisition, and hemodynamic measurements Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to patient safety protocols Collaborate with physicians and cath lab team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care Support equipment setup, troubleshooting, and quality control Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray use Participate in departmental procedures, ensuring proper documentation and patient positioning Maintain proficiency with specialized cath lab technologies, such as IVUS, intracardiac echo, and contrast injectors Assist with patient transport and access site management as needed Uphold hospital policies, safety standards, and core organizational values
What You Need:
Graduate from an accredited Radiology, Cardiovascular, or healthcare-related program BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) EP experience required; prior cath lab experience preferred Certification in relevant modalities (RCIS, RCES, RCS, or comparable) preferred Relevant state licensure (e.g., MRT or LMRT in Texas) Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and patient-centric approach About the
