POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Tech/MT/ MLT / CLS / CLT is responsible for:

• Performing the lab tests ordered by providers in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performing venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Department patients, and Outpatients as required.
• Performing Preventive Maintenance and other Quality Assurance Activities to promote continuing excellence within the laboratory.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

MLT / CLT

- Associate in Applied Science Degree with

MLT / CLT

, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization ( ASCP preferred). MT/ CLS - Bachelors of Science degree with MT/ CLS or the equivalent in education, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization ( ASCP preferred).

Experience:

Prior Medical Technology experience preferred
