Registered Polysomnographic Technologist RPSGT

The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is responsible for preparing, setting up and monitoring the patient for their Sleep Study. You will be responsible for ensuring a quality test is performed. Tasks include, but are not limited to: preparing ancillary equipment applying electrodes and sensors fitting masks scoring studies documenting significant events during the study to facilitate interpretation of results implementing appropriate intervention troubleshooting problems as needed using sound clinical judgements and decision making to recognize and react to unusual or life threatening situations such as severe cardiac or respiratory events, seizures or other critical events. ability to work independently adhere to strict HIPAA policies Shift's are typically three 12 hour shifts, 7pm - 7am, and may include weekend nights.
