Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - ASCP or equivalent Experience with hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank procedures Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Previous hospital or clinical lab experience is highly valued
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests across multiple disciplines Analyze lab results accurately and relay critical information to healthcare providers Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation and equipment Ensure compliance with quality control and safety procedures Document and report findings following established protocols Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
