Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful contribution to healthcare by utilizing your expertise in laboratory science as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with an experienced clinical team while conducting essential laboratory testing and supporting accurate patient diagnosis and care.
Expected Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a closely related field Current national certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting Strong knowledge of laboratory protocols, instrumentation, and safety regulations Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory analyses on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples Ensure accurate specimen collection, handling, and processing following lab policies Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment Record and validate test results in laboratory information systems Adhere to strict quality control and assurance standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely lab results Participate in continuing education and competency programs as required This opportunity allows you to broaden your clinical expertise, work with state-of-the-art technology, and positively impact patient outcomes.
