This is a 13 week contract assignment with an immediate start, ideal for experienced professionals looking to make an impact quickly in a respected healthcare facility. Travel Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLT/MLS)•

Night Shift Location:

Huntington, West Virginia, 25701 We are seeking an experienced Travel MLT/MLS for a 13-week night shift assignment at a 350-bed hospital. Schedule is 5x8-hour shifts from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend required.

Requirements:

Active West Virginia MLT/MLS license Previous travel experience required

ASCP/AMT

eligible (ASCP-MLS or

ASCP-MLT

preferred) Experience in hospital clinical laboratory settings

Responsibilities:

Perform testing in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, and blood bank Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment Review and interpret quality control results Process specimens accurately and maintain proper labeling/storage procedures Follow safety, infection control, and hazardous material protocols Utilize Cerner charting system

Preferred Skills:

Blood bank and crossmatch experience Manual differentials and microscopic UA ABGs, cardiac enzymes, hormone testing, and therapeutic drug monitoring Experience with Sysmex, Beckman, CellaVision, and ACL TOP analyzers

Additional Information:
