This contract position is ideal for a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician with generalist expertise, ready to provide reliable support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

5x8 hour evening shifts
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician program Current ASCP certification is required Experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze comprehensive lab results Proficient in laboratory instrumentation, methodologies, and quality control protocols Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals Primary responsibilities: Perform a broad range of clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology procedures Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and timely testing Adhere to established laboratory workflows and safety standards to maintain a compliant and efficient environment Validate and interpret laboratory results for accuracy, provide data to physicians, and contribute to optimal patient outcomes Maintain clear and thorough documentation according to regulatory standards and laboratory policies Participate in routine quality assurance activities and continuous process improvement initiatives This position provides a professional, supportive workplace where your laboratory expertise will make a significant impact on patient diagnosis and treatment.
