Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your laboratory career as an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician in a dynamic generalist role. This contract opportunity requires proficiency across a range of laboratory disciplines and the flexibility to adapt to the demands of a comprehensive clinical environment.

Required Qualifications:
Current ASCP certification Credentialed as a Medical Technologist (MT, MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Demonstrated experience in a generalist laboratory setting, with competency in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank procedures Ability to perform both manual and automated testing with precision and accuracy Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and quality control measures
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as a generalist, ensuring quick and accurate results for patient care Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment Adhere to all quality assurance and quality control protocols, maintaining high standards in result reporting Accurately record test results in laboratory information systems Participate in continuing education and stay current with laboratory practices and technology Collaborate effectively with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care Support the training and orientation of new personnel if required Gain valuable experience and contribute to the high-quality services of a trusted healthcare provider in a supportive environment.
