Full Job Description Posting Note:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinical Educator to join the PICU. This role is pivotal in enhancing the clinical skills and knowledge of our inpatient staff through innovative educational programs and collaborative development efforts. If you are an experienced clinician with a talent for teaching and a passion for pediatric patient care, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will work closely with clinical staff, nurse leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to assess educational needs, support staff development, and design comprehensive training programs that strengthen safe, high-quality care for our PICU patients. This position develops, implements, and evaluates proactive educational plans and programs to address staff and departmental needs to ensure ongoing enhancement and improvement of staff skills, competencies and professional growth in accordance with established standards, requirements and regulations. Position Duties Collaborates with colleagues within the educational department to support the departmental strategic plan and ongoing institutional growth. Collaborates with other disciplines and departments as a change agent and participates in the evaluation of outcomes. Engages in ongoing organizational endeavors which support the philosophy and values of Phoenix Children's, nursing, model of care and professional development of staff. Plans, implements, and evaluates learning opportunities based on evidence using a variety of teaching strategies. Seeks and takes advantage of opportunities to enhance own professional growth and development. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
