WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Perioperative Services Clinical Educator is responsible for providing orientation, training, and education for clinical nursing personnel, surgical technologists, and support staff in to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care throughout all phases of intra-procedure care in the Operating Rooms, Cardiovascular Operating Rooms (CVOR) & Endoscopy suites. The Clinical Educator ensures practices are aligned with the Franciscan Alliance values and the strategic goals of the department and organization to improve patient and staff outcomes. Part Time 16 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Bachelor's Degree BSN
  • Nursing 3 years Nursing/Patient Care Preferred 2 years Department Specific Knowledge Preferred Registered Nurse (RN)
  • State Licensing Board Basic Life Support Program (BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • American Heart Association
