Clinical Educator BMC Operating Room

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence seeks a Registered Nurse Clinical Educator supporting Baystate Medical Center Operating Room. The BH Clinical Educator plays a key role in advancing education initiatives across specialty areas within Baystate Health (BH). Under the guidance of the Director Clinical Education, this position is responsible for delivering high-impact clinical education and validating staff competencies across multiple sites. The educator ensures that staff development aligns with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and specialty-specific standards.

• RESPONSIBILITIES

• + Supports clinical competency validation and performance tracking.

+ Teach clinical classes and facilitate hands-on training sessions. + Delivers specialty education content and administers education programs + Support hybrid competency and skills fairs across assigned sites. + Performance Tracking & Reporting + Monitor and track completion of Competency-Based Objectives (CBOs) and other performance metrics. + Maintain accurate documentation and provide timely reports to leadership. + Implement system-wide education initiatives at the site level, adapting content to meet local needs. + Collaborate with the clinical education team to ensure consistency and quality across facilities. + Matrixed Collaboration + Serve as a liaison between site leadership and the central education team +

• SCHEDULE

Master's Degree Required:

A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), MSN or master's degree in health-related field if

BSN. + RN

Massachusetts (required). + At least three years of clinical experience in the specialty area + Experience in education, staff development, or clinical instruction + Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design +

Professional Certification Required:

Nursing Professional Development or Specialty Certification
