Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5 PM Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide oversight, monitoring and facilitation of standardized and/or customized educational programming; and to ensure compliance with and completion of mandatory education and skills validation. What you will do:
Demonstrates TH PACE values consistently and leads by example with all internal and external customers and works collaboratively across all TH PACE divisions Acts as a leader by setting vision, aligning resources, and supporting organizational growth and change Helps develop and maintain plans to achieve operational goals Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships across teams, fosters teamwork, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts effectively Manages department budget and orders necessary equipment and supplies and identifies financial risks and recommends cost-saving measures Evaluates, mentors, coaches, and disciplines department staff, supports and coaches staff across departments to promote excellence Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies Supports orientation and annual education programs, tracks and reports compliance with required training and provides education based on identified learning needs Serves as a resource for educational materials and opportunities and reviews competency checklists for assigned programs Assists with EMR education coordination and helps plan internal conferences and symposiums Provides education in collaboration with Quality Improvement and leadership teams Facilitates educational sessions and activities and tracks training attendance as a HealthStream administrator Serves as liaison for student programs and ensures regulatory compliance and assesses capacity for hosting students Uses adult learning principles and interactive teaching methods and maintains accurate education and compliance records Participates in system-wide workgroups for standardization Coordinates CPR training as needed Assists with TH PACE orientation sessions Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's level degree in Nursing, or Master's Degree in Social Work, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy. Minimum five (5) years of healthcare related experience. Certified CPR/BCLS
Instructor (or obtained within 12 months of hire). A combination of education and experience may be acceptable. Minimum one (1) year teaching or instructor experience, with planning and developing educational materials, preferred. Routine travel between PACE locations, occasional travel to Michigan system office, and possible out-of-area travel with approval Action-oriented, strong business acumen, manages conflict well, customer-focused, adaptable, and able to work independently Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, virtual, and shared leadership environments Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate clearly with diverse audiences in any setting Advanced Microsoft Office skills, familiarity with email/calendaring systems, accurate typing, and ability to learn new software High accountability and independent decision-making; able to plan, organize, and implement programs aligned with organizational goals Strong organizational and multitasking skills, maintains customer service under interruptions, flexible, and strong problem solver Position Highlights and Benefits:
