Position Summary:
The Simulation Lab Educator is responsible for designing and implementing simulation experiences across the human lifespan for nursing and other health programs. These simulations support both discipline-specific and multidisciplinary learning outcomes. This position requires a solid understanding of healthcare across care settings (critical, acute, and long-term care) and involves operating simulation equipment, maintaining accreditation standards, and collaborating on scheduling simulation and skills lab sessions. The educator also conducts structured learning sessions and tutoring aligned with faculty requests to supplement classroom instruction. Flexibility is required, including availability for evening and weekend shifts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and administer meaningful simulation experiences (low, medium, and high-fidelity) that reflect both theory and clinical practice. Ensure high-fidelity simulation equipment is properly functioning; coordinate repairs and upgrades as needed. Maintain and update clinical case scenarios to reflect current practice standards. Provide structured learning sessions in collaboration with faculty to meet specific student needs and promote competency. Operate all simulation equipment in the Clinical Simulation Lab. Support coordination and scheduling of lab space and simulation activities. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards for simulation education in healthcare. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge and skills 3 to 7 years of related experience in the field Current, unrestricted license or certification in a healthcare discipline relevant to assigned simulations Additional Experiences Considered None listed Application Deadline Position will remain open until filled.
