Job description At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses. Position Summary The Clinical Specialist is responsible for delivering clinical and educational support, within an assigned territory, to field sales staff, clinicians and patients. The Clinical Specialist will deliver clinical knowledge, expertise and educational support to field sales staff and identified Healthcare Professionals to help increase their knowledge and understanding of the disease state and approved product indication(s) to meet all relevant standards as set by the company and program management. Perform all job duties while maintaining compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements and company policies. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Develop relationship with key prescribers and KOLs by providing a high level of service and responsiveness, ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding the use of Tactile's products Possess and share superior clinical knowledge of the company's products, their clinical applications and instructions for use Assist sales representatives to develop new sales opportunities and accounts with physicians and hospitals Liaison with Medical Education, Sales Training and Product Development to assist with all aspects of developing and executing continuing education and training programs for the sales Provide live in-service education and in-service programs to assigned accounts as directed by the Area Directors Represent Tactile Medical at conferences, trade shows, seminars and workshops Provide clinical guidance for the development of clinically focused materials for patients, clinicians and physicians Responsible for professional, thorough and timely follow-through of clinical requests Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business Identify and respond to areas of clinical training need, including the ongoing improvement and development of training and support materials Provide insight in meetings and suggestions for continuous improvements and best practices, process improvement and product development Educate clinicians on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms. Provide supplemental training support during product launches and for high touch specialty products Develop and present clinically appropriate presentations to various medical groups as requested by the sales and medical education teams Collaborate with R D and product management to develop products and/or enhancements Demonstrate a thorough command of all Tactile Medical products, related product and technical knowledge, trends and players 50% or more travel Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Required:
3+ years' experience in the respiratory care field Licensed as an RCP, active and in good standing Associate's degree in respiratory care from an accredited higher education institution. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. Previous experience presenting/educating clinicians, including physicians, on respiratory disorders and treatment
Preferred:
Registered respiratory therapist (RRT) Bachelor's degree in respiratory care from an accredited higher education institution Knowledge & Skills Strong proficiency with technology particularly, Zoom, Microsoft Office tools including Teams, Word, PowerPoint or other relevant software Proven ability to deliver high caliber presentations. Passion for translating this skill into engaging and interactive educational experiences Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to articulate clear messaging in a compelling and concise way Connect resources and teams to drive business objectives. Build trust and good rapport quickly with others. Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
