Main Responsibilities:
ThisrolewithinRareBloodDisorders and OncologyPatientServices:
The Clinical Educator (CE) is a key field-based member of the US Rare Blood Disorders and Oncology Patient Services team.

The CE provides disease and product information and on-going support, when appropriate, to ITP, aTTP and multiple myeloma patients and caregivers. The CE establishes and maintains a strong working relationship withrelevantclinician stafftoprovideeducationtoensureaseamless experienceforpatients.

He/sheis a subject matter expert on disease state, product, administration and services. The CE works collaboratively with cross-functional team members to facilitate timely and on-going access to therapy. CE'smustalsoensurefullcompliancewithallcorporateandindustrypoliciesand legalandregulatory requirements, for all field activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
HCPSiteEducation(40%) Educatehealthcareproviderstoensuretheyarewell informed priortotreating prescribed patients with approved resources. Educatestaffondisease,product,procurement,administrationandsupport services in accordance with approved resources post RX Developandmaintainaccountplanstosupporton-goingeducation.

UtilizesCRMto manage territory and record activities. Conduct educationalprogrammingwithclinician staffutilizingapprovedresources PatientAssistance(20%) Ensurethepatientiswelleducatedanddoesnotfaceunnecessary barriersto therapy. Communicate any treatment barriers to the prescriber/office staff. Collaborate with field partners to reduce overall cycle time for prescribed patient starts. Collaboratecross-functionallywithotherfield-basedteamsandcasemanagerstosupport patient access, enrollment, and appropriate adherence to prescribed therapy. PatientEducation(40%) EngagewithITP, aTTPand multiple myeloma patientstoeducateondiseaseandproductusingapproved resources. Conductbrandedandunbrandedpatienteducationprograms(liveandvirtually)forITP, aTTP and multiple myeloma patients using approved resources. Supportappropriateon-goingadherencetoprescribedtherapy. IdentifyopportunitiestofurthersupporttheITP,aTTPand multiple myeloma communities,including representing Sanofi at local patient events. MaintainaccurateandtimelydocumentationofpatientengagementwithintheCRMsystem.
About You Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree is required, a nursing or clinical background is required; an advanced degreeisaplus. TheCEisnotthepatientsmedicalprofessional however andmustnot be involved in care decisions or to provide medical advice.

The patient should always be referred to his/her provider for medical advice. Previouscommercialand/orclinicalexperience(hospitalorhomehealth)is required. Rare Disease, Hematology/Oncology, Apheresis experience preferred. Previous3+yearsaccountmanagementskillsand/orpatienteducation in the pharmaceuticalindustryexperience preferred. Priorproductlaunchexperiencepreferred. Ability to meet requirements for hospital credentialling.
Knowledge,Skills&Competencies:
Communicate any treatment barriers to the prescriber/office staff. Excellentpresentationskills Experiencewithmedicalandpharmacybenefitproducts.
Empatheticlisteningskills Languagerequirements:
Englishrequiredand bilingual Spanishpreferred. Requires technical skills to effectively navigate and learn multiple complex platforms.
RequirementsoftheJob:
Ability to travel up to 60% within a territory is required; ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programsasnecessary-additionaltravelwillberequiredwithinthe assigned geography. Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings to attend conferences, events, and for other business needs.
