We focus on achieving better, faster results aligned with long-term strategic goals. Job Overview RL Canning is seeking an experienced Clinical Informatics Trainer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for preparing and delivering effective learning solutions for clinical end users (nurses, unit clerks, nursing assistants, ancillary clinicians, and physicians) on subjects related to the Electronic Medical Record system. Training delivery methods include classroom and unit-based instruction, eLearning, web-based training, and one-to-one coaching sessions. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually, W2, along with a comprehensive benefits package detailed in the "Benefits Offered" section of the job description. The salary wage offered within this range will be influenced by factors such as work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. During the hiring process, your recruiter will provide more specific information about the salary range, considering these factors. Compensation and benefits remain in the Company's sole discretion and may be modified at the Company's absolute discretion, consistent with applicable law, until they are paid. In this role, you will Partners with members of the clinical operations team, Clinical Informatics staff, and information systems personnel to assess the learning needs and develop appropriate learning opportunities to improve utilization and effectiveness of the electronic medical records system. Develops training materials, including tools such as course manuals, eLearning, webcasts, updates, and competency assessments appropriate for clinical learning needs. Analyzes and selects the best training method(s) based upon audience, desired change, complexity of material, and desired outcomes. Delivers training to the end users in a classroom or unit environment, or by eLearning, web-based training, or one-to-one coaching sessions. Develops and maintains training resources, including handouts, participant guides, eLearning, webcasts, and other learning resources as needed. Updates based on feedback, workflow changes, and system changes. Participates in unit and integrated testing, including updating of test scripts as needed. Works with IS to ensure that the training domain is functioning correctly. Develops competencies and assessments to ensure desired actions and functionality are demonstrated. Updates based on feedback, workflow changes, and system changes. Completes Trainer Curriculum, including courses in training delivery, Instructional Design, training templates, e-learning, and Webcasting. Able to apply knowledge to meet training standards. Creates and maintains procedural guidelines for EMR workflows on respective applications. Ensures procedures match training materials and actual processes/workflows. Participates in unit and integrated testing, including updating of test scripts as needed. Ensures the build is correctly incorporated into all training environments. Perform other tasks as necessary to support and achieve business objectives. For this role, you will need Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience as a nurse, experience in clinical capacity in a hospital, and experience in clinical informatics. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Nursing. Coursework in Clinical Informatics, preferred. Willingness to travel as needed to support client projects and corporate responsibilities.
