Our patient engagement and Clinical Nurse Educator platform delivers personalized, evidence-based human and digital interventions. About thePosition:
The Clinical Educator will utilize professional skills and clinical expertise to train healthcare professionals on administration and management of an HIV PrEP therapy. This resource will create opportunities for education by partnering with sales and field reimbursement teams to call on pre-approved healthcare providers. The educator will build strong relationships and conduct programs with healthcare professionals focused on delivering tailored therapeutic education, comprehensive injection training, and increased awareness of patient support resources.Essential Functions:

Responsible for routing and scheduling activities to call on approved accounts Work and communicate collaboratively with territory field force members, as appropriate, to meet area educational needs, identify collaborative opportunities, and execute territory plan Plan, implement, and communicate collaboratively with all field organizations (salesforce, FRM's) to meet established business plan objectives, identify collaborative opportunities and optimize territory plan for results Responsible for training on pre-approved curriculum to a variety of audiences including, but not limited to physicians, office staff, and other health care professionals Enable HCPs to provide more inclusive and effective care for diverse HIV patient populations through:Cultural Competence:
Incorporate topics focused on culturally sensitive communication best practices LGBTQ+Community Support:
Provide training on LGBTQ+ inclusive practicesHealth Literacy:
Provide simplified educational materials to use with patients with low health literacyPersonalized Support:
Train HCP offices on the importance of individualized treatment plansSocial Determinants of Health:
Inform about resources that HCPs can utilize when patient assistance is required to overcome healthcare system barriers Conduct total office call and/or in-service sessions to educate physicians, nurses and office staff.Topics could include:
patient education and empowerment strategies, patient support programs, as well as product administration and management education and demonstrations Respond with a sense of urgency to in-service inquiries (via text, email, Salesforce, etc.) Anticipate and address HCP educational needs Advise on industry insights and innovative approaches to training curriculum Conduct trainings and submit completed documentation to Momentum Life Sciences in a timely manner Ensure all activities are conducted in a manner that is compliant with all Momentum Life Sciences, client, and industry mandated rules and regulations Perform other duties as assigned Other duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Experience working for (or contracting with) a pharmaceutical company Required License and/or credential(s): RN or NP Valid driver's licenseRequired Skills:
Previous HCP and Patient education experience Recent HIV and/or infectious disease experience and passion for diverse patient population High EQ and ability to deliver effective and persuasive messaging Foster a strong culture of ethics and compliance by ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards in daily operations and decision-making Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and a bias for action Ability to promptly address open ended questions, provide feedback and solutions to healthcare professionals based on "real world" clinical experiences Deliver impactful presentations and effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, demonstrating strong public speaking skills and the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders Proven adaptability to changing business demands and product relevance in a fast-paced environment Competent and comfortable utilizing Momentum systems such as Salesforce, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office products Eligible to participate in federal healthcare programs or in federal procurement or non-procurement programsSpecial Position Requirements:
Travel:
Up to 50% within assigned territoryWorking Conditions:
Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Physical Requirements Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively (hear, listen, speak) with or without reasonable accommodations.Salary Range:
