- Education (LMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly, Salary Pay Grade Health-28 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Description The Registered Nurse Clinical Educator serves as a clinical resource to our nursing staff, guiding nurses at the bedside, encouraging and being a professional mentor to our nursing students and newly graduated nurses. Assist the Director of Education with planning, and coordinating the educational needs and requirements of all new and tenured staff members of MUSC Catawba Division. Creates and organizes training schedules and conducts training programs for staff development. Works with the compliance department to ensure all required education elements are accomplished, and maintains records of compliance with regulatory agencies.
Experience :
Minimum of two years experience of relevant experience
Additional Job Description Education :
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college/university required. Master's degree in nursing preferred.
Licenses/Certifications :
Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state required.
