This role focuses on developing patient medication administration confidence, reinforcing best practices, and ensuring high-quality safe patient care through real-time coaching, skills demonstration, and workflow support with patient and family members. Key Responsibilities Bedside Training & Clinical Coaching Provide real-time, hands-on instruction at the bedside to support patient and family member to administer medications at home Observe patient teach back and offer immediate feedback and corrections. Training Development & Documentation Maintain accurate records of bedside teaching sessions in ECW Communicate recurring challenges or educational needs to leadership and participate in action planning. Collaboration Partner with Intake, Infusion Nurses, Physicians and Case Managers to address any patient's needs for a safe discharge Work alongside the intake team on clinical needs
Qualifications:
Active clinical license (RN, LVN/LPN, or applicable discipline). Minimum 2-3 years of direct patient care experience. Strong clinical skills with the ability to demonstrate and teach effectively at the bedside Excellent communication, coaching, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive and professional manner.
Success Traits:
Experience in hands-on clinical education or skills training. Comfortable guiding patients in high-acuity or fast-paced clinical environments. Strong understanding of evidence-based practice standards and safety requirements. Ability to adapt teaching style to different learning needs and skill levels.
Work Environment:
Standard office and clinic environments within a healthcare clinic setting. Regular interaction with healthcare providers, administrative staff, patients, and insurance companies.
Pay:
$41.00 per hour
