Job Description

Clinical Nurse Leader —
The Optimization Lab Location:
Dover, NH Employment type: Full-time, part-time, and per diem available, W-2 Reports to: Medical Director /
Owner Compensation:
Full-time starting at $85,000/yr with flexible benefits About Us The Optimization Lab is an evidence based clinical optimization practice embedded inside a premium fitness environment. We bring high-value medical care to the place people already work on their health
  • on-site blood work, body composition analysis, clinical treatment, and honest patient education that helps active adults turn their effort into meaningful results. We act as our patients' partner in true health improvement: more accessible than concierge medicine, more complete than IV drip bars, and more attentive than a rushed primary-care visit. We're building something rare
  • a place where clinical excellence, health promotion, athletic optimization and fitness culture converge, and where education is the product, not an afterthought.
The Role We're seeking an experienced RNs to serve as our Clinical Nurse Leaders. You'll deliver and uphold excellent, evidence-based clinical care, make patient education the heart of every visit, and mentor our team as we grow. This is a hands-on clinical leadership role: you set the standard for care quality, you partner with patients in the hard work they're already doing and you lead our team in the delivery of care that changes the lives of our patients. What You'll Do Patient care & education: Conduct assessments, deliver treatments, and teach every patient the "why" thoroughly enough that they could make the decision themselves.
Clinical delivery:
Administer IV/IM therapies, perform phlebotomy, and carry out treatments accurately and safely per established protocols. Clinical quality & integrity: Uphold protocol adherence, documentation standards, and patient safety.
Optimization mindset:
Help patients move from "normal" to thriving; keep working with those whose numbers are technically fine but who still don't feel right. Team education & mentorship: Train and mentor clinical staff; serve as the go-to clinical resource and culture-setter for the team.
Stay on the leading-edge:
Keep current on evidence and emerging practice in clinical and performance-optimization medicine. What We're Looking For Active, unencumbered NH RN license Experience in and passion for leadership in a clinical or specialized care setting Advanced skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and patient assessment Strong interest in cutting-edge clinical medicine and performance optimization Genuine passion for fitness, health optimization, and healthy living
  • this isn't just a job; you live it Strategic, big-picture, forward thinking and the confidence to raise ideas Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • you build culture and hold standards Comfort with ambiguity and an appetite for learning in a fast-moving environment Our Core Values These aren't decoration.
We hire, coach, and make decisions against them — and we expect every clinician to do the same. We believe normal isn't good enough. "Your labs are normal" isn't the finish line. You help patients move from fine to thriving, and you keep working with those whose numbers are technically okay but who still don't feel right. We partner by teaching. Education is the product, not a bonus. You support the work patients are already doing by building their understanding
  • grounded in real evidence (labs, body composition, history, how they feel), explained thoroughly enough that they could make the decision themselves. We make prevention accessible. Prevention shouldn't be a luxury. We remove barriers
  • cost and the friction of going somewhere new
  • so meaningful care reaches the many, not the few. We put the patient's interest first. Safety, scope, and what's genuinely right for the patient come first
  • including when that means doing less, or nothing, even when "yes" is the easier answer. We act early. Most care happens after something breaks. You act on early warning signs
  • addressing issues before they become problems. Why Join Us Lead clinically from day one
  • you're the clinical standard-setter, not a number on a unit Mission-driven work: help close the gap between effort and outcomes for the patients you serve Team-first culture where clinical care and fitness culture intersect Real growth potential as the practice scales
  • your career can grow with it Work directly with an owner-operator invested in your development Compensation & Benefits Starting at $85,000, based on experience Flexible benefits, including health coverage support — we build a package around what matters to you Paid time off plus flexible, generous sick leave A predictable schedule with strong work-life balance Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout a clinical shift Manual dexterity and fine motor control for IV/IM administration and phlebotomy Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs as needed Equal Opportunity The Optimization Lab is an equal opportunity employer.
