Job Description
Overview A well-established healthcare organization in Arizona is seeking an experienced Quality Improvement Director to lead and oversee a comprehensive, system-wide Quality Improvement Program. This role is responsible for maintaining accreditation and regulatory compliance, driving performance improvement initiatives, and supporting organizational excellence in patient care and operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in healthcare quality, regulatory standards, and team management. What You'll Do Lead and manage a system-wide Quality Improvement Program Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards Oversee audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives Serve as the primary liaison for external audits, surveys, and corrective action plans Develop and implement the annual Quality and Performance Improvement Plan Conduct annual program evaluations and report findings to leadership Chair the Quality Management Committee and collaborate with internal teams Supervise Quality Improvement staff, including hiring, training, and performance management Provide training and education to staff on quality processes and best practices Monitor quality metrics, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement Participate as a key member of the
Leadership Team What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field 2-3 years of leadership/management experience 2-3 years of experience in Quality Improvement within healthcare Strong knowledge of medical records practices, compliance, and regulatory standards Proven leadership and team supervision skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Experience within the Arizona Behavioral Health system CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) certification Work Environment & Expectations Designated essential staff role Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and multitasking skills Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality service Physical Requirements Primarily sedentary work (sitting most of the time) Occasional standing/walking and lifting up to 10 lbs Why Apply?
