ABOUT US
Marin City Health & Wellness Center (MCHWC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally responsive care to underserved communities in Marin City and Bayview Hunters Point. Our services include primary care, dental, behavioral health, and care coordination.
POSITION SUMMARY MCHWC
is seeking a Quality Improvement Manager to lead our Quality Improvement (QI) and Risk Management programs. This role is responsible for advancing a data-driven approach to improving patient outcomes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. The Quality Improvement Manager works closely with leadership and clinical teams to monitor performance, support reporting (including UDS), and prepare for HRSA Operational Site Visits (OSV) and FTCA requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the organization's Quality Improvement (QI) program Monitor clinical quality measures, patient outcomes, and operational performance Oversee UDS reporting and ensure data accuracy and integrity Coordinate QI Committee activities and support Board reporting Manage risk management processes, including incident reporting and root cause analysis Track and respond to patient grievances, complaints, and adverse events Support HRSA compliance efforts, including FTCA redeeming, OSV preparation and documentation Partner with clinical teams to improve care delivery and close care gaps Develop dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making Provide staff training on quality improvement and compliance processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field 3-5 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement (FQHC experience strongly preferred) Experience with UDS reporting and HRSA requirements preferred Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) Knowledge of QI methodologies (PDSA, Lean, or similar) Excellent communication and organizational skills
PREFERRED
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Experience in community health or safety-net settings
