General Function:
The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the Amsted Automotive Group (AAG) Quality Management System (QMS) across all applicable sites. This role provides enterprise-level quality systems leadership through strong matrix influence, partnering with Business Unit and Plant Leadership, Plant Quality Managers to align quality practices, ensure compliance to applicable standards (e.g., ISO/IATF/customer specifics), and drive measurable improvements in the cost of quality and customer satisfaction. The incumbent assists as a change agent, lead internal auditor, and senior liaison (as needed) to resolve complex customer and supplier quality issues quickly and effectively.
Duties:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across all applicable sites Partner with Business Unit leaders, Plant Leadership, and Quality Managers to align quality standards and best practices Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, and customer-specific requirements through audits and system oversight Serve as lead internal auditor, driving audit readiness and corrective action initiatives Act as a change agent to improve processes, reduce cost of quality, and enhance customer satisfaction Support resolution of complex customer and supplier quality issues as a senior liaison Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization Experience 8 - 10 years in Quality Department. 5 years in Supervision Management What's In It For You We create a supportive environment where employees thrive!
